Summer term

(Message for competitive classes only)

Dear All,

Training will continue as normal until 16th July and will subsequently resume on 5th August.

After the World Open there will be no training for competitive classes for two weeks. However, if any skater is interested in practice sessions during this time, it might be possible to accomodate them by previous arrangement, subject to availability of supervisors.

Fees for the month of July are 50% of normal monthly fees. Normal fees will apply in August.

For skaters paying per term, the summer term fees are 1/3 of the 5-month term ones (7 weeks versus 21).

SUMMER CAMPS:

Camp I (advanced): from 5th to 9th August (10.00-3.00)

Camp II (competitive intermediate): from 12th to 16th August (time to be confirmed)

Camp III (advanced): from 19th to 23rd August (10.00-3.00).

Please support REBEL ACRO!

Hi Everyone,

Rebel Acro, a group of gymnasts from Ballincollig Gymnastics Club, are in the finals of Ireland’s Got Talent this Sunday evening.

One of our coaches, who is also a gymnast, is in the group, and we are very proud of everything that they have achieved so far.

We would ask that you would consider voting for them on Sunday evening, as we have no doubts as to their real talent!

Thank you so much!

Parking

Dear All,

We would ask that you avoid parking in the covered area in front of the blue doors as these parking spaces are reserved for CFSA coaches and officials.

We apologise for the delay in putting signage in place; this will be done at the earliest opportunity.

You are still welcome to use this area to drop off your child if you wish, then please proceed to park in the adjacent areas or at the front of the building.

We would be very grateful for your cooperation on this matter.

Well done!!

Hi Everyone,

Great day yesterday in Little Island for all involved in our club competition.

Well done to all the skaters who participated: it’s a pleasure to see so many competing for the first time, as well as the most experienced skaters. You all looked fabulous!

A very big thank you to everyone who helped, making it such a pleasant occasion as well as making it possible for it to run smoothly.

You are all amazing!

Competition tomorrow 9th March

Dear All,

Just a quick check list for skaters competing in Little Island tomorrow:

Please make sure that your skates are in order (check wheels, toepicks and laces); for skaters using the club’s skates, you can collect them from the hall and bring them with you to Little Island.

Don’t forget your dress, tights, hair accessories and especially your USB key with your music if you have not already handed it in.

The competition will begin at 3 o’clock. The hall will be open from 1.30. You should arrive at least 45 minutes before your group’s warm-up time.

Lastly, look up, smile and enjoy your time on the floor!

If you are not competing on this occasion, you are still very welcome to come and watch.

Looking forward to seeing you all there,

Sabrina

Owner of blue dress?

Hi Everyone,

We are trying to find the owner of this dress!! No label and no one seems to know whose dress it is…

One of our skaters would like to buy it / rent it for Saturday. If you recognise it please contact me (086 8077616).
