Christmas Show

Dear All,

We are really looking forward to all of our skaters’ performances on Saturday in Little Island Sports Complex.

Please drop your child at the door opposite Crush Coffee at the time specified by your coach.

Coaches will assist with lacing skates, no parents should enter the premises.

Skaters can stay after their performance and watch the rest of the show from the gallery if they wish (after taking off their skates). Some drinks and snacks will be provided, so please let us know at drop-off if your child has any allergies.

Skaters can then be collected at about 6.30, but do let us know if your child is leaving early.

Recordings of the show will be available to purchase as soon as possible. We hope that you all enjoy watching it together with family and friends during the holidays.

Once again, thanks to all our coaches and volunteers for all your hard work, and best of luck to all our skaters!

Christmas Show

Dear All,

In line with Government recommendations and with Public Health advice, we regret to inform you that we have decided not to have any audience at our Christmas Show on Saturday 11th.

This is in the interest of both safety and fairness, as we would have had to limit capacity to a smaller number than the total of our skaters’ family members.

We will, however, have high-quality recordings of the show, which will be available to purchase afterwards.

Please be assured that we will do everything possible to make the experience enjoyable for our skaters, while maintaining the necessary safety measures in place.

Your coach will inform you during the week of the exact time when each group of skaters should be dropped to Little Island Sports Complex on Saturday 11th. Please drop your child at the door of the back hall (opposite Crush Coffee) and wait in the car park for the end of your child’s performance.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the event, please feel free to talk to us, by phone, text or email.

Best wishes,

Sabrina and the Coaching Team

Hi Everyone,

It is with great pleasure that we have now resumed indoor training, and we are delighted to see our skaters back.

A very warm welcome to our new members, we hope that you will enjoy your classes.

Just a reminder to parents: please wear a mask when entering, leave the hall promptly after helping your children to put their skates on, and wait in the vicinity until the end of the class.

Any skater who is unwell, or who has been identified as a close contact of a Covid case (unless fully vaccinated and without any symptoms), or is waiting for a Covid test should not attend for training.

Outdoor venues wanted

Dear All,

It seems that we are finally putting a long winter behind us.

It is anticipated that Covid restrictions will be gradually eased over the next few weeks and months, and that we can cautiously resume some of our activities.

While it is likely that indoor sports will remain restricted, outdoor classes might be allowed to take place in small groups, possibly from 26th April.

We are currently on the lookout for suitable places where we could run some small classes outdoors (when allowed). While this would be something new for us, we have to look at all our options at this stage.

If you know of a reasonably smooth flat surface in a safe area near you, could you please let us know?

Possible venues might include: tennis courts, basketball courts, car parks… Any other suggestions would be welcome.

We would of course need to obtain permission beforehand.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Sabrina & Team
