Moving!!

Dear All,

We are finally ready to move to our new premises at the Marina, on the Centre Park Road (please see exact location on Google Maps) from this Saturday morning 5th August.

Classes will be held in Little Island Sports Complex at the usual time (Wed at 6.30, Thursday at 5.00 and Friday at 5.00) until Friday this week, then at 9.30 on Sunday at the new hall.

We would be very grateful if some of you could give us a hand in bringing some skates and equipment on Friday evening from Little Island to the Marina, maybe if you are heading in that direction on your way home…

If you can, would you please text Kelle before Friday at 086 0666797 to let her know.

We really hope that the move will run smoothly and that this will mark an important step forward for our club, but please forgive us if there happen to be some hiccups at the start…

Urgent communication

Dear All,

We regret to inform you that, due to unforseen circumstances, relocation of CFSA will no longer take place as planned on the second week of July.

We will continue training in Little Island Sports Complex (with the current timetable) until further notice.

We understand the difficulties for parents and skaters who may have already made arrangements according to the new venue and class times. Please bear with us while we are trying to resolve the situation.

Dear All,

As some of our coaches are travelling to Dijon for the World Open, we regret to inform you that there will be no classes on Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th June. All skaters who normally train on those days can instead come on Friday 30th at 4-7 or Sunday 1st July at 9.30-12-30.

Snow White wheels available

We now have a number of Snow White (orange colour) wheels in stock, if anyone whishes to bring them to Dijon just in case the floor proved to be slippery with Geneva wheels.

We are moving!

Dear All,

As you know our club has been growing steadily over the last few years, all the classes have become busier, so we have finally made the decision that we need our own dedicated facility in order to continue to offer good quality classes at all levels.

We have secured a lease on a suitable building at the Marina, which is near the city and therefore more accessible to everyone, also by public transport, on foot or by bicycle!

The new rink will be ready by early July, and we will be moving there during the second week of July.

We believe that this move will allow all our skaters to progress as there will be more classes available as well as more space for practice at each class. The new floor is top-quality, especially designed for inline skating, and the rink will be maintained to the highest standard.

We hope that these advantages will make up for the inevitable inconvenience associated with the move for skaters and parents.

A new timetable for the summer will come into place as soon as we have moved. This will be reviewed in September.

Practice dresses

Dear All,

Please note that the time is running out for anyone who wishes to order a practice dress in time for Dijon!

There is no obligation to purchase the dress, however, all skaters taking part in the competition are expected to wear their club uniform during training before the competition (club t-shirt, jacket, pants/leggings with club colours or the new club skating dress kindly made by Mary).
