There will be no ballet tomorrow 21st May.
There will also be no ballet or regular training next Sunday 28th, day of the Summer Show.
All skaters performing in the show have to be at the hall on the morning of Sunday 28th for a final rehearsal.
If you can put up posters of the show anywhere around you (your local shop, library, school, post office…) please pick some up in the morning. The bigger the audience, the better!
See you then!
Just to let you know that we now have Geneva wheels available (€12 each), as well as ball pics (also €12).
We also have laces in different sizes (€4.00 per pair).
The Cork City Marathon will take place this year on Sunday 4th June. Entry deadline is this Thursday, so if anyone would like to run a leg or two (or the whole way!) please let me know by tomorrow 🙂
We are going to celebrate our 6th birthday and our great success at the last competition in Madrid tomorrow at 1.30. Hope to see you all there!
I will send out an order for boots at the end of this week so please let me know by then if you wish to order a pair if you have not already done so.

Our Summer Show (end-of-year display) will take place on Sunday 28th May in Little Island Sports Complex.
All skaters are invited to take part in the show, provided that they can attend all practices over the next few weeks leading up to the day of the show.
Please let your coach know if you are going to be there asap.
The summer show is always a very enjoyable occasion for skaters and parents, and we very much look forward to seeing you all there!
Happy skating 🙂
Attached is the list of requirements for each level of the Introductory Test taking place on Sunday 9th April.
GDE Error: Error retrieving file - if necessary turn off error checking (404:Not Found)
We are going to send a new order for the following items:
- Boots (starting price €130)
- Frames (starting price €170)
Please let me know by 7th April if you need any of the above. For boots I need to know the make (Edea or Risport), model (depending on your skating level your coach will advise you) and size (the two-hundred-and-something number under the sole of the boot, not the UK size).
Our next Inline Figure Skating Test will take place in Little Island Sports Complex on Sunday 9th April at 9.30. All skaters are welcome to take part (please check with your coach before registering for level(s) to be attempted). Cost is €5.00 per level attempted. You must register this week (put your name on the list at your next class) and bring your payment in at the same time if you wish to take part.
There will be no training on Sunday 9th April for skaters who are not doing the test (it will be possible to have your class on a different day during the week after but please check with your coach first).
Best of luck!
All CFSA skaters are invited to take part in the St. Patrick’s Day Parades in Cork City and in Ballincollig. The only requirement is to wear your CFSA jacket or t-shirt (with lots of layers underneath!), to smile and have fun!
Starting time will be 1.00 for Cork city and 3.00 for Ballincollig. More details to follow.
Please send me a quick email or text if your child is going to take part.
