Ballet for skaters
Dear All,
Just a reminder that ballet for skating takes place on Thursdays at 6 till 7. The cost is €30 per month (which is really good value if you check the normal ballet schools fees) and we have an excellent teacher.

Skates order
Dear All,
I am going to send an order for new boots (Risport or Edea) over the next couple of weeks, so if you need a new pair please email me (sabrinavassia@yahoo.com) asap. I will have prices over the next few days.
You need to email me:
- model (RF3, RF2, RF light)
- size (the 200 and something number that is under the sole of the boot)
It is best to try on the boots, you cannot rely on your shoe size, so please check what boots fit you correctly before ordering (you can look for your size at the hall or ask to try on a pair from the other skaters).
Please note that once you have the boots you will need to order the frames and wheels, which are sold separately by Picskates. You can check their prices on their website www.picskates.com.
I will order the correct size frame for your boots if you need a new one.

Ballet for skating
Dear All,
Just to let you know that ballet for Kelle’s, Anita’s and Emilie’s classes is now on Thursdays at 6.00 o’clock. As you know ballet is an essential part of skater’s training, as it improves posture, balance, strength and flexibility.
We are very lucky to have a top class ballet teacher who has made himself available to teach our skaters.
The cost is €30 per month. To reserve a place, please contact Anita (anitatmasterson@gmail.com). Places are limited.

New timetable and fees
Dear All,
This is the new timetable for Liane’s class from 1st September. We did our very best to take everyone’s needs into account, although we are aware that some of you may find the changes inconvenient.
If there are major isssues arising, we might review it at a later date.
MONDAY: 5-7: training for 1st division only; 7-9: practice;
TUESDAY: 4-6 choreography;
WEDNESDAY: 6-8: training; 8-9: practice;
THURSDAY: 5-7: training; 7-8: ballet;
FRIDAY: 5-7: training; 7-9: practice;
SUNDAY: 9.30-12.30: training (including athletics).
Monthly fees from 1st September (excluding choreography and practice):
11 hours + ballet: € 280
9 hours + ballet: € 240
7 hours + ballet: € 200
5 hours + ballet: € 170.
Autumn term
Dear All,
If you wish to re-enrol for the new term starting on 1st September please confirm your class time with Anita (anitatmasterson@gmail.com) and either pay by Paypal or bring cash or cheque to Anita in an envelope with your name and class day and time.
If you have already re-enrolled your place is confirmed. If you paid your fees before 23rd August you might just double-check the amount as there is a slight increase for this term.
This term’s fees are as follows:

4 € 570 (€ 530 if own skates)
10% Discount for 3rd and 4th family member

ARSI membership and Insurance: €25
No classes on Friday and Saturday
Dear All,
Due to a workshop with an international olympic coach this weekend we will have to cancel all classes this Friday 25th and Saturday 26th.
Please feel free to attend any of the other classes this week in lieu of your missed class:
Kelle’s and Anita’s class: Tuesday at 6.00 or 7.00; Wednesday at 4.00 or 5.00; Thursday at 6.00 or 7.00;
Emilie’s and Sabrina’s class: Tuesday at 7.00; Wednesday at 5.00; Thursday at 7.00.
Alternatively you can train for two consecutive hours next Saturday if you wish.

Class timetable reminder

Just in case you are just back from your holidays and need a reminder of the new class timetable (at our new premises), this is the current one:
Kelle’s class: Tuesdays at 6.00 and 7.00; Wednesdays at 4.00 and 5.00; Thursdays at 6.00 and 7.00; Saturdays at 9.30, 10.30 and 11.30.
Emilie’s class: Tuesdays at 7.00; Thursdays at 7.00; Saturdays at 9.30, 10.30 and 11.30.
Anita’s class: Fridays at 4.00.

Moving!!
Dear All,
We are finally ready to move to our new premises at the Marina, on the Centre Park Road (please see exact location on Google Maps) from this Saturday morning 5th August.
Classes will be held in Little Island Sports Complex at the usual time (Wed at 6.30, Thursday at 5.00 and Friday at 5.00) until Friday this week, then at 9.30 on Sunday at the new hall.
We would be very grateful if some of you could give us a hand in bringing some skates and equipment on Friday evening from Little Island to the Marina, maybe if you are heading in that direction on your way home…

We really hope that the move will run smoothly and that this will mark an important step forward for our club, but please forgive us if there happen to be some hiccups at the start…
